Hot Stuff:
Now you're cookin'

It’s the hot plate all grown up.

Frigidaire’s portable induction cooktop is not quite as big as a piece of legal-size paper, which makes it a great fit for tight spaces or anywhere you need an extra cooking surface, home or away. Whether you’re making KD for yourself or melting Belgian chocolate fondue for guests, it heats quickly and cooks efficiently – 70% more efficient than gas and 20% more efficient than electric – thanks to its induction technology, which heats the pot, not the stovetop or the kitchen.

It comes with its own induction-friendly 8" pot and a testing magnet to check the compatibility of your other cookware (most stainless steel and cast iron pots and pans are).

Suggested retail price: $199. Available at Sears, Leon’s, The Brick and The Bay, as well as select major appliance locations.
